The head spa at Eco Jardin Cheonho comes in two courses: 15 steps and 18 steps. The difference between them is just three steps. The 18-step course adds a scalp massage, a herbal scalp pack and a steam mist cap, and every other step is the same in both. If your goal is to clear out the scalp and replenish it with nourishment, choose the 15-step course; if you would like to spend more of your time relaxing and resting, choose the 18-step course.
Why we reach for a microscope before the scissors
Eco Jardin developed its own 15-step and 18-step head spa courses from a single idea: scalp and hair should be cared for from the root. Hair is not something you make, it is something that grows, and behind hair that has grown well there is always a scalp that has been looked after well. That is why we look at the scalp first, before we think about cuts, perms or colour.
Both courses open and close with a microscopic scalp diagnosis. At the start, we magnify your scalp to see how it is doing on that particular day, and as the care draws to an end, we check it once more in exactly the same way. The courses follow a set order, but the intensity is adjusted to the condition of your scalp on the day, so no two sessions need to feel quite the same.
The 15-step course, in order
- Microscopic consultation & diagnosis
- Neck massage
- Neck muscle relaxation with suction machine
- Hot towel compress
- Natural aroma oil massage for cleansing and exfoliation
- Galvanic sealing brush
- Invigorating scrub
- Therapeutic steam mist
- Hair nourishing shampoo
- Y-stick treatment
- Yume spa bed relaxation
- Rediagnosis of scalp
- Hair growth tonic
- T-stick infusion
- Dry and finish
The flow is easy to follow. First the neck and shoulders are loosened and warmth is used to ease tension. Then cleansing and scrubbing clear out the scalp, and shampoo and treatment fill it back up with nourishment. Once your rest on the spa bed is over, we check your scalp again and finish with tonic and a blow-dry.
The three extra steps in the 18-step course
In the 18-step course, Yume spa bed relaxation is followed by a scalp massage, a herbal scalp pack and a steam mist cap, and only after those does the course move on to the rediagnosis of your scalp. Rather than turning up the intensity of the care, these three steps give more time to relaxation and calming. The finish is exactly the same as in the 15-step course: hair growth tonic, T-stick infusion, then dry and finish.
Alongside these two courses, Eco Jardin Cheonho also offers a face-lifting head spa. You can see what each course includes at a glance on our head spa page.
The products used in the courses are made by Eco Jardin

The shampoo, treatment, activator scalp tonic and ampoule used in the head spa are Eco Jardin's own products, made under its in-house line, ECOJARDIN 15 STEP SCALP & HAIR. For the same reason we developed the courses ourselves, we also make the products we actually use in the salon.
When people tend to book a head spa
- When the scalp gets oily easily
- When the scalp starts to feel stuffy not long after washing your hair
- When flaking becomes noticeable
- When frequent use of styling products leaves the scalp feeling heavy
- When frequent colouring or perms leave the scalp feeling sensitive
A head spa is beauty care, not medical treatment. If you suspect a scalp condition or hair loss, please see a doctor first.
The designers who look after your scalp
Associate Director Junghwa works on scalp clinics and design colour together, guided by the belief that “no style lasts longer than the scalp it sits on.” The approach is to put the scalp right first and then build the design on top of it. Salon Director Alexander, who is a certified Dermaheal Scalp Therapist (Class 1 & 2), also looks after scalp care while working on colour and cuts.
Prices vary with your designer and the condition of your hair, and we confirm them when you book or at the consultation. Each designer's schedule fills up separately, so we recommend reserving your time in advance through Naver Booking before you come in.
FAQ
- Should I choose the 15-step or the 18-step head spa?

- No, you don't need to wash it before you come. The course already includes an aroma oil cleansing step and a nourishing shampoo step.
- How much does the head spa cost?
- Prices vary with your designer and the condition of your hair. We confirm them when you book, or at the consultation.
